In line with the latest National Lockdown we are now closed until 12th April at the very earliest
Kids can safely explore the farm, meet our many animals – including chickens, donkeys and pigs – and even feed them. There’s the play room too to meet new friends.
******Due to the current situation all shared facilities advertised at this property will be closed, with the exception of farm walks and riverside picnicking where social distancing rules can be adhered to.
You can even learn a new skill here – crafting – including stained glass and wire work – we run a range of different courses, click here for more information.
Here guests can relax on the farm, where they can roam the twenty acres or take in the many nearby attractions, such as the famous beaches, the moors or explore the local towns and villages that are all within easy reach.
Our weekly bonfire is an event not to be missed – a chance to meet other guests and chat about the places you’ve been exploring, we also have a barbeque during the school summer holidays.
Well behaved dogs are always welcome.
All our cottages are stone barns, recently sympathetically converted with a great deal of care and attention to detail, to ensure that the original character is retained.
You will find the accommodation is high quality, tastefully furnished and well equipped. The whole ambience is relaxed and tranquil – the perfect base for a delightful holiday or short break!

It was a wonderfully relaxing week….a real home from home…..and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was ideal with young children….they loved all the animals, the play equipment and the games room. The location was excellent, with easy access to shops and main roads. I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.
Such a great place – totally relaxing and such a lovely location to explore all of North Devon. Will be going back as soon as possible. Really child and dog friendly which is just what we were looking for.
Beautiful cottages in a very green and peaceful area of Devon. The owner takes willing volunteers to feed farm animals every morning at 10am, and to collect eggs (which you can take for a very small extra fee). Library contains loads of books and DVD’s, and things like fishing nets and wetsuits are readily available for use.
The cottage was just right for us. There was plenty of room and it was very comfortable. Our grandson loved feeding the animals and grew in confidence as the week went on. Sally was very good with all the children. There was lots to do in the area could have done with another week. Will go again.
